Divorce Services:
Certified Divorce Financial Analyst - CDFA™ Service:
Why work with a Divorce Money Solutions CDFA™ ?
- CDFA™'s are trained and certified to analyze you marital assets and propose settlement alternatives. Most attorneys have legal training NOT financial.
- A CDFA™ can work with one or both parties to objectively present options. If both parties know the present and future value of the marital assets, negotiating an equitable settlement between the spouses becomes possible.
- Less expensive to have financial settlement options proposed and selected by you before a judge decides for you.
What information do I need to provide to the CDFA™ ?
Ideally, financial information for one to three years is preferred. The more complete the documentation is, the better we can serve you. We provide a list of the documents to bring.
Divorce Mediation Service:
Why choose a Divorce Money Solutions mediator over litigation?
- Voluntary process.
- More cost effective than a court case.
- You determine the schedule and the issues for settlement.
- Likely a faster settlement.
- All proceedings are confidential.
- You have control.
How does mediation work?
Both parties agree to work together with the assistance of a neutral mediator/facilitator to systematically isolate and discuss disputed issues in order to reach a consensual (MSA) Marriage Settlement Agreement that addresses both their needs. The process focuses on the participants own responsibility for making decisions that affect their lives. Parties are welcome to have their individual advisor attorneys or a single co-mediator attorney review the final agreement.
